Babyshower for Meg, Kim and Monica

Little over a year ago we started the tradition of throwing a babyshower for our fellow StrollerStriders, first out was Gina. This time the turn had come to Meg, Kim and myself.
	When we all arrived there was alot of action in the kitchen. As this was a potluck we had many yummy treats to try out...
...some mingling before the wonderful brunch!!

Time to eat...first out were the mothers-to-be in January (Kim's due date is January 8, Meg and Monica's January 18th)

	What can I say, what a wonderful cake. Allison really is a master at making these beautiful-looking, well-tasting treats. Below a Christmas tree, that really tasted yummy as well. I heard that Dillon was involved in making this one...maybe he can give me a lesson??





Time for games!! Marlene had some really great games that we enjoyed...good job Marlene...I think we just might name you the new Stroller Strides game planner!! Here we are looking for who is having poo in their diaper...and the winner was....Laura...she got to enjoy her price right away...and boy did it suit her!
	Jenny is trying to find some safety pins in a bowl of rice...easier said than done. I think Allison won this game with 19 pins...much more than anyone else of us could get. We all got a clothespin in the beginning of the shower...if we would catch our friends either saying baby or cossing their legs we would get their pin...Johanna won this game!!
Johanna was the big game winner this day, she and Gina won the competition of trying to get as close as possible to the prego ladies belly sizes....Gina is showing of her prize with another happy game winner!!

Time to check out what is in these beautiful gift baskets...as you can see, every little detail was very well thought through!!

Thank you so much to each and every one of you that in any way was involved in our babyshower. You made our babyshower a great experience, the food was yummy and your generosity was really overwhelming.
Maya came up with the great idea (???) of having me lean over the car and look...sexy...hmmm...not anything I felt really comfortable with...but what the heck...you cannot say no to someone that has put so much effort in to making your day so wonderful....so I did it...not very sexy but I am leaning over the car!!!
