San Jose Discovery Museum with Linn's friends

The other week, Maya, Laura, Cynthia and I sat down and decided on a scedule for our Thursday outings (Maya had done research about great places to visit in the area). We started off this Thursday with the San Jose Discovery Museum. "One of the largest museums of its kind in the nation, the museum's 150 interactive exhibits lead visitors to explore, understand and enjoy the world in which they live".

We carpooled down to San Jose with Johanna and Alice. We met Linn's friends Claire, Dillon, Bridget, Jack, Alexis and Gabriel there.

We started in the toddler area, boy did the kids like the table where they could throw balls around...

As you can see they did not only throw the balls, they checked out if they tasted good as well!!

Hey mom, this tunnel is cool!

Do you think this tastes ok??

Hmm, alot of shapes and colours!

Hey Gabe, if you press the button under the birdie, it will sing for us!

Dillon looooooved this place...a technial guy!

Let us now fill this tube and then weigh it!

Boy, did they like the area where they could paint and fix their own small artsie things...

Check out these dolls, cool clothes!

Lunch-break

Back in business... behind the steeringwheel of a firetruck!

Last, but not least...the water area, where they could play around totally without intevention from their mommies...

This is interesting!

Ok, change of clothes after all that water...but it was worth it.

We had a great day and are already looking forward to our next Thursday-outing!
