| Carl turns 2 on January 11th, Friday but as he only goes to preschool Tues-Thur (yes, yes, he started last week), we brought cake on Thursday. A Swedish Princess Cake from our favourite cake-place, Prolific Oven, here in Palo Alto. | |

| Carl's actual birthday was spent at Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose, a great place for kids that both Carl and Linn just love. In the evening we had Liljenstens over for dinner and celebrated with some cupcakes and presents. | |
