Our house in Sweden is sold

In 2000 me and Mike bought our first house. We lived in it less than 2 years before we moved to the US, and have rented it out since then. Today we sold it to some friends of ours. So we will still get to come and see it - but it is no longer ours. And today I am actually a bit sad. Even though this does not mean that we will never move back to Sweden - it is still a connection to Sweden that is somehow lost.

Jeanna, Jesper, Noah and Stella moved back to Sweden yesterday and I think that also does contribute to my sad mood today. I think about these friends that have been such a big part of our lives. Last year I said goodbye to Johanna and family. Besides being an extra-ordinarily wonderful person, Johanna is one of these rare friends that, no matter what, will be there in my life. We might not speak for months but when we do we just start off where we left off and are so well connected again). And now Jeanna with family. The connection with Jeanna has been so rewarding because we are really interested in and like to do the same things . We are very active, like sports, movies (we like the same movies and also laugh and cry at the same time), reading and enjoying life in all sorts of ways. A perfect play-mate!

Sooo, I guess I just need too go and cheer myself up a bit. Meanwhile, below you can have a look at our house (ex-house as from today).
