Spending the days between Christmas and New Year in Kirkwood |

| Yep, Kirkwood is THE place we go to for skiing nowadays. It is great since the apartment we rent is just by the slope and a short walk from the lifts. And we were lucky with the snow since it had snowed a full week (about 3 meters of snow). | |

| The Gruter/Nell family was also there with us, which was great (Linn and Lily have been hanging out since they were 1 year old). | |

| Carl tried skiing, but did not enjoy it that much... | ...while Linn and Lily were eager to get up in the slopes... |

| Ok, so I am not very afraid of Linn and Carl trying adventurous things, but I was very surpised (and on the verge of being worried) when Lily and Linn went on the chair lift all by themselves with ski school (in Europe these sorts of chair lifts have these safety barrs...but here - nothing!).... | |

We had 5 wonderful days up in the snow and we are already looking forward to the end of January when we are going back up there for a weekend again! |
