Caroline's surprise 40 celebration |
| I thought it would be fun to celebrate Caroline turning 40.
When she was away in Hawaii celebrating with her family, I was plotting
with Gina and also Cynthia about what we should do. I asked Caroline's hubby
Pierre to give me the names of her buddies that he thought should be there
and invited them and also the chicks from the Big Sur weekend for an evening
together. Amy helped out and did a great job of luring Caroline out of the
house. Amy had a great cover-story about getting a gift certificate to this
great restaurant downtown and wanting to get out of the house...and Caroline
happily agreed to join Amy. Gina got the props, some silly hats, Cathy got
the special birthday hat (that I also got to wear for my birthday) and we
were ready to greet Caroline for this surprise dinner at Reposado. |

| Gina and myself made a toast for Caroline and she got her
birthday gifts (a bunch of pampering stuff) and ended the evening with a
dessert. Happy, happy 40th Caroline! |
