Chicks in the City

A couple of the chicks came up with the idea to make trips to San Francisco to explore different neighborhoods. So we started out last Sunday, with a trip by Caltrain to the city and then we headed to Bernal Heights.

After a looong walk through some industrial parts of the city we ended up at our first stop, the Alemany Market.

Bernal Heights is a calm neighborhood with a bohemian feel to it with many cafees and fruit stands. It is the home of many artists, young families that bought their first home in the neighborhood and it is popular among the lesbian population of San Francisco. We walked up the hill to Bernal Heights, had a nice coffee and lunch at the Liberty Cafe and then checked out some stores. It was exciting exploring a new place with a bunch of great girls, we really enjoyed ourselves, the company and Bernal Heights.
